What is UVAM / SUVA?

UVAM (Unfallversicherungsanstalt in German) or SUVA (Caisse nationale suisse d'assurance en cas d'accidents in French) is Switzerland’s National Accident Insurance Fund. It is responsible for providing mandatory accident insurance to employees and specific self-employed individuals, ensuring protection against workplace accidents and occupational diseases.
